Dvora’s story:

When I was ten years old, I begged my mother to let me pierce my ears. I was so excited to wear great earrings! Unfortunately, I soon developed keloids on my ear lobes where they had been pierced. (These are lumps of over-grown scar tissue.) I was lucky that they scrank to almost nothing when I stopped wearing earrings, however, I grew up deprived of earrings.

As an adult I was particularly frustrated, because I became a jeweler and made wonderful earrings for everyone but me.

Several years ago I cut my hair very short and again longed to wear earrings. When I complained to Lisa, she suggested that we get creative, and find a way for me to adorn my ears. Hense, The Hoop was born. It is The Earring Solution!

Immediately, I wanted all kinds of variations: large and sassy, small and dimure, gold with red and black for tango, silver with green and purple for summer parties…..

No problem! We designed The Hoop to carry all manner of adornments. We are continually creating new ones.
